Special forces personnel from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) are monitoring an area while a group of veiled Iranian-Sunni female members of the Basij paramilitary forces are standing outside of a stadium after a ceremony commemorating Iranian-Sunni female martyrs in the seaport city of Bandar Turkmen, situated on the southeastern coast of the Caspian Sea, 410 km (256 miles) northeast of Tehran, on November 30, 2023. The Basij militia, which operates under the command of the IRGC, is organizing and holding the ceremony.
