In Osorno, Chile, on March 6, 2026, red carnations lean against the wall. A plaque identifies the former Osorno Investigations Headquarters (formerly the PDI) as part of the Memory Route. This headquarters serves as a prison and torture center during the military dictatorship. The Memory Route in the Los Lagos Region, recently launched by the Ministry of National Assets, encompasses 32 key landmarks that trace local history, focusing on human rights sites and historical memory. It functions as a tool for symbolic reparation, allowing the community to learn about the places where human rights violations occur between 1973 and 1990.
