PUEBLA, MEXICO - DECEMBER 9, 2023: The Biblioteca Palafoxiana, founded in 1646, is recognized by UNESCO as the first and oldest public library in the Americas. It houses more than 45,000 books and manuscripts dating from the 15th to the 20th century, on December 9, 2023, in Puebla, Puebla State, Mexico.
