"Gwanbangjerim in Damyang is a forest formed on the 2km-high hill from Damyangchon Stream. There are about 420 trees such as Muke Trees, Japanese Hackberry Trees, etc. History says that the big trees were planted hundreds of years ago, and the small trees, in 1854. Gwanbangjerim Forest in Damyang protects the village and the bank from floods and strong winds. Therefore, this forest is designated and protected as a Natural Monument."
