One of the product which manufactured handmade by Sharifah Yusof, on April 13, 2015. Sharifa Yousuf, origin from Al-Leban Al-Gharbi 34 km northwest of the city of Ramallah . Started in weaving olive branches in age 8 years old from her relatives. She did teached her colleagues students when she was in fifth grade on weav olive branches. But she stopped about this proffession after get Married in Bait Rima village in 1974. Began again in 80s and 90s started again teaching as a trainer this profession through local culture institutions in different villages in Ramallah, Nablus, Jenin, Jericho, and Bethlehem. Yes, I help my family for financial income and helped them on education costs, and also helping when there is a recession in the work of my sons, and no work is available to them permanently, and a small stone Strengthens a rock, Sharifa said. She Puts olive branches in the water for an hour and twigs wheat for ten minutes to controll it in weaving and keep it without breaking during the weaving proccess. Dying twigs to several colors to make the form of different colors. Palestinians used to put in those baskets eggs, olives, bread and many things Sharifa work in her house on weaving twigs wheat and olive branches, and sell the products in the village. Some times she works in orders and requests for Palestinian institutions and foreign foundations as well.
