The Viettel 5G Open RAN Massive MIMO Radio Unit (32T32R) is showcased at MWC 2026. Vietnamese engineers develop it in-house using the Qualcomm QRU100 5G RAN Platform. This high-performance antenna supports a 190 MHz bandwidth and features 192 antenna elements. It is part of Viettel's ''Make in Vietnam'' ecosystem, which aims to provide energy-efficient and sustainable digital infrastructure for the global market, achieving up to 24% energy savings compared to traditional 5G deployments during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, Spain, on March 5, 2026.
