A protester holds a poster with words 'Rights are not given, rights are won in struggle'. Activists gather in front of the Law and Justice (PiS) rulling party regional office during the 'Our Struggle Still Continues' protest in Krakow, on the 104th anniversary of obtaining voting rights by Polish women. Poland was one of the first countries to grant rights to women: women's suffrage was passed on November 28, 1918, after the country regained its independence that year, after 123 years of partitions and foreign rule. In Poland 2022, women still have a lot to fight for: the right to decide about their lives and health without the interference of the church hierarchy and politicians, the right to legal abortion and respect for the LGBTQ+ community. On Monday, November 28, 2022, in Krakow, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, Poland.

Activist hold placards saying (L-R) 'We Deserve A Choice' and '22.10.2020. Polish Women Do Not Forgive You For This'. Thousands of people marched tonight in Krakow and other Polish cities for the third day in a row of protests against the near-total ban on abortion. The protest is a direct reaction to Thursday’s ruling by Poland’s Supreme Court that existing law authorizing termination of pregnancy for fetal is against the constitution, effectively tightening one of the strictest abortion regimes in Europe. On Saturday, October 24, 2020, in Krakow, Poland.
