Seven people are shot in a mass shooting after 11:00 PM, Friday evening on the July 4th Holiday. A preliminary investigation indicates that two unknown male offenders approach the victims on foot. An unknown offender displays a firearm and opens fire into a crowd of people who are standing outside, striking multiple individuals. No one is in custody. A 27-year-old female sustains a gunshot wound to the left leg and is listed in serious condition at Mt Sinai Hospital. A 21-year-old female sustains a gunshot wound to the right thigh and is listed in serious condition at Mt Sinai Hospital. A 21-year-old male sustains gunshot wounds to the right quad and right foot and is listed in serious condition at Mt Sinai Hospital. A 29-year-old male sustains a gunshot wound to the left arm and is listed in serious condition at University of Chicago Hospital. A 25-year-old female sustains a gunshot wound to the left flank and is listed in serious condition at University of Chicago Hospital.
