Good Friday morning service is held at the Saint Trinity Eastern-Orthodox church in Yambol, Bulgaria, on April 29th 2021. That Bulgarian Orthodox service is observed on the evening of Good Thursday and it consists of reading the Matins of the Twelve Passion Gospels which follow the sentencing of Jesus Christ, his crusifixion and the Resurrection. It was held by the church priest Zhelyo. The Bulgarian Ortodox church bases its holidays on the Gregorian calendar, so that they coincide with those of the Western churches.
