Palestinian archaeological experts work in the Roman cemetery that was discovered in late 2022, in the west of northern Gaza Strip, on September 7, 2023. According to the Palestinian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, 125 graves have been found at the cemetery and two coffins made of lead that will be transferred to the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities for further research with the assistance of international experts and archaeologists.
