An informational panel for the ''Sentiero della Liberazione di Firenze'' (Florence Liberation Trail), a heritage hiking route dedicated to World War II partisan resistance, is seen near Barbiana, Vicchio, Tuscany, Italy, on April 7, 2026. The board is part of the Parco Culturale Monte Giovi trail network and describes the role of the Mugello hills in the 1943-1944 anti-fascist resistance and the civilian support networks that sustained partisan groups in the area. The trail covers 26 kilometers through the Apennine hills around Monte Giovi.

A trail information panel dedicated to Bianca Bianchi, an anti-fascist partisan and politician from Vicchio, is seen near Barbiana, Vicchio, Tuscany, Italy, on April 7, 2026. The sign is part of the ''Sentieri dei Partigiani'' (Partisan Trails) network in the Parco Culturale Monte Giovi. According to the panel, Bianca Bianchi was born in Vicchio on July 31, 1914, was active in the anti-fascist Resistance during World War II, and in 1946 became one of the first women elected to Italy's Constituent Assembly, the body that drafted the republican constitution. She died on July 9, 2000. A wooden sign below the panel indicates the ''Chiesino di San Giusto'' chapel 150 meters away, and a CAI trail marker identifies the Monte Giovi route number 200.
