Poet Pankaj Saha at The inauguration session of Sutanati Utsav 2017 in Kolkata.n the year 1690, on this day, Job Charnok was landed in Kolkata through waterways for the first time. At that time, the place of his landing was known as Sutanuti (North Kolkata). To mark his first steps at erstwhile Sutanuti, every year Sutanuti Utsav is being organized by Sutanuti Parishad on 24th August at Nat Mandir of Sovabazar Rajbari.
