Firefighters control the water pipes which deliver water to the scene of the wild fires as they spread across Solska natural forest near Bilgoraj, Eastern Poland on May 7, 2026. The pipes spread for dozens of kilometers. Fire fighters have been tackling the blaze for two days. Soil in Poland goes through another year of geological drought, making wildfires a national threat. Around 1000 hectares have burned in Solska forest.
