Tourism is one of the main income sources of the country. As of January 2023 local and international media mention talks between the Greek Government and the British Museum for the long standing dispute of the return of the Parthenon Marbles sculptures, parts of the frieze that have been removed from Lord Elgin and are displayed on the museum in London.
