Press gather outside of the Hart Senate Offie Building as people rally at the Poor People's Campaign Moral Monday demonstration and civil disobedience action near the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. on August 2, 2021. The group, which gathered for voting rights, an end to the filibuster, a federal minimum wage and other progessive causes, marched from Union Station to Capitol Hill where they took over the streets, before dozens were arrested by U.S. Capitol Police.
