On the same day, the global power battery giant CATL is officially releasing its innovative cutting-edge battery technology -- condensed matter battery -- at the 2023 Shanghai Auto Show. The energy density of the battery is as high as 500Wh/kg, which can achieve both high specific energy and high safety, and can quickly achieve mass production. It is understood that the first application of condensed matter battery released by Ningde Times may be in the field of aviation. It is understood that condensed matter is a system composed of a large number of particles with strong interactions among them. This concept comes from condensed matter physics, one of the largest and most important subdisciplines of physics today. It is the extension of solid state physics, so that the objects of study in addition to solid substances, but also include many liquid substances, such as liquid helium, molten salt, liquid metal, liquid crystal, latex and polymer, and even some special gaseous substances, such as Bose-Einstein condensate Bose gas and quantum degenerate Fermi gas.
