Sisters Lauren Biggs (left) and Katherine Johnson attend the Women's March Rally for Abortion Justice in Washington, DC dressed as wounded and bleeding Lady Justice and Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Protesters demand the US government protect women's reproductive rights and access to abortion nationwide. Specifically, they are calling on Congress to pass the Women's Health Protection Act (WHPA) and EACH Act, which guarantee abortion access and require it to be covered by insurance. More than 600 satellite protests are happening nationwide on October 2. The events are partly in response to restrictive anti-abortion laws recently passed in Texas and Mississippi, and the Supreme Court's refusal to strike down the Texas law.

A demonstrator wears a rainbow band of flowes and a mask with lace along the top, reminiscent of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg's robe, at a rally to pass the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) at the Supreme Court. The amendment would prohibit discrimination on the basis of sex, which would require equal pay for women, among many other changes. The required 38 states have ratified the amendment, but, unlike other constitutional amendments, a time limit was placed on the ERA, which has now expired. ERA proponents are pressuring Congress to extend the time limit.
