OSWIECIM, POLAND - APRIL 18, 2023: (L-R) Yisrael Gottesdiener and Benny Rosenbaum of the Reim Duo, known for its hassidic and other Ashkenazi songs, are seen ahead of the 35th annual 'March of the Living' inside Auschwitz I, a part of Auschwitz-Birkenau, the largest German Nazi-operated concentration camp during World War II, on April 18, 2023, in Oswiecim, Poland. The March of the Living, an annual educational program, brings together Jewish students from around the world to silently march from Auschwitz I to Auschwitz II Birkenau, paying tribute to the millions of lives lost in the Holocaust. Through this powerful program, students gain a deeper understanding of the atrocities of the past and the importance of preventing them from happening again.
