The President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, through the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR), has initiated the Housing Financing Program Environmentally Friendly (Indonesia Green Affordable Housing Program/IGAHP), targeting low-income communities (MBR) and is set to run from 2024. Concurrently, the Indonesian government has selected BTN People's Housing Credit (KPR) as a subsidized home ownership credit system to meet housing needs.
