Shaft sinking of KWK Budryk coal mine in Ornontowice , Poland on February 3rd, 2015. After the government announced a restructuration plan for coal mines, Silesia region was rocked by a wave of protests. Miners working in mines belonging to the Kompania Weglowa coal consortium, and later those employed by Jastrzebska Spolka Weglowa began protests and went on stike fearing the loss of their jobs and privileges.
