The 8 Turkish soldiers who flew to Greece by helicopter judged on 21 July 2016 in a Greek court in Alexandroupoli city, the verdict was sentence for 2 month for illegal entrance in Greek territory. As an excuse the court accepted that they were under pressure and under threat us they were shot in the helicopter. One lawyer from Turkey occurred an incident with threats in the courts and was expelled. After the verdict 3 Turkish independent lawyers (not from the helicopter crew) that previously demanded to participate in the trial and the extradition of the them to Turkey created tension, saying that this court is illegal and they should participate, without accepting the Greek and international laws. Also a transsexual from Turkey, before the trial raised a Turkish and shouted slogans against them, supporting Erdogan and threatening Greek government. Now the 8 member after the sentence of 2 months in prison wait the decision for their asylum proposal.They have been moved to Kavala city in the prisons there.
