The KDDI Autonomous Vehicle, a high-tech demonstration car showcasing Level 4 (L4) autonomous driving capabilities, is a key attraction at the ''Street Corner of Tomorrow'' pavilion during MWC 2026. The vehicle is equipped with an extensive array of high-resolution cameras, LiDAR, and radar sensors designed to monitor the environment with 360-degree precision. It is demonstrated alongside a remote monitoring system and an in-vehicle AI that can detect medical emergencies, like sudden illness, in passengers, all powered by KDDI's low-latency 5G infrastructure and Osaka Sakai Data Center during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, Spain, on March 4, 2026.

The vehicle features a specialized triple-motor system (two Xiaomi V8s and one V6s HyperEngine) that delivers a peak output of 1,548 horsepower and 1,770 Nm of torque. Its advanced autonomous driving suite is powered by dual NVIDIA DRIVE Orin computing platforms with a combined 508 TOPS of performance, supported by a comprehensive sensor array including a 128-beam LiDAR, three millimeter-wave radars, and 11 high-definition cameras (featuring 8-megapixel primary sensors for long-range vision). The SU7 Ultra integrates an 800V high-voltage architecture with a 93.7 kWh CATL Qilin 2.0 battery pack, allowing a 10-80% charge in just 11 minutes. The interior highlights a 16.1-inch 3K central console and a 56-inch HUD running on Xiaomi HyperOS, ensuring full synchronization with the brand's mobile and AIoT ecosystem.
