Some of delegates from ASEAN attending an event ASEAN Railways Ceo's Conference in Royal Ambarukmo Hotel, Yogyakarta, Indonesia, on October 18, 2016. The event was followed by the seven train operator company in Southeast Asia such as the Railway Kereta Api Tanah Melayu Berhad of Malaysia, State Railway of Thailand, Vietnam Railway, Royal Railways of Cambodia, Lao Railway Authority Laos, Myanmar Railways and PT KAI Indonesia. This event aims to discuss creating connectivity between Southeast Asian countries through rail transport to meet the challenges of the Asean Economic Community known as MEA.
