A signed copy of actor John Spencer's script for the pilot episode of "The West Wing" sits on display in the White House for an event hosted by First Lady Dr. Jill Biden celebrating the 25th anniversary of the series debut in Washington, DC, on September 20, 2024. Dr. Biden is using the occasion to highlight the ability of the arts and storytelling to inspire public service careers. The series ran for seven seasons and won numerous awards, including 26 Emmys.
