On July 10, 2020, several thousand demonstrators protested in Paris and several cities in France against the presence in the government of Gérald Darmanin, accused of rape, and Eric Dupond-Moretti, very critical of the #metoo movement. On the square of the Paris City Hall, many feminist activists responded to the call of the collective "#noustoutes" to protest against "the culture of rape", most of them carried placards with slogans such as "Welcome to the Ministry of Rape", "Rapists in prison, not in the government", "A rapist inside, an accomplice to justice", "Shameful reshuffle", "Stop impunity".
