Local newspapers reported the news of the start of the trial. The former CEO of Atlantia Giovanni Castellucci (not present today) will be tried, along with 58 others, for the collapse of Genoa's Morandi bridge where forty-three people died on August 14, 2018, after a storm. The relatives of the victims will be able to see the proceedings outside the court on the screen in the conference hall of Genoa court.
