Students (Santri) of Ar-Raudhatul Hasanah Islamic Boarding School rush to perform the Dhuhr prayer before participating in a mass Quranic recitation (Tadarus) and the distribution of zakat dates in Medan, North Sumatra, on February 21, 2026. According to the Deputy Director of the school, Carles Ginting, through the Student Counseling Division led by Ustadz Azmi Rauf Hasibuan, approximately 3,400 male and female students engage in Ramadan 1447 Hijriah activities. These activities include prayers and the distribution of Tunisian dates by the Raudhatul Hasanah Zakat Management Unit (UPZ), sourced from donors and parents to support the students' spiritual activities throughout the holy month until the Eid Al-Fitr celebration.
