It operates mainly in the early morning hours, while the city is still asleep, moving to intense rhythms, filled with voices, negotiations, and constant motion. It is primarily a wholesale space: fishermen, traders, transporters, and workers coexist in a cold, damp environment, marked by strong smells and artificial light. There, the value of the product is determined in real time, often through informal or organized auction processes. Beyond its commercial role, the fish market is a microcosm of labor. Tired bodies, hands cracked by salt, repetitive movements -- a daily reality invisible to most. It is a place where time is measured differently: not by clocks, but by crates being emptied and trucks pulling away.
