The sacred pole ''Ya:shi'' is pulled down, marking the end of Indra Jatra in Kathmandu, Nepal, on September 11, 2025. The chariot procession, halted since Monday due to curfew and political unrest, cannot be completed this year. Instead, the festival ends after Kumari, Ganesh, and Bhairav are ritually worshipped, followed by the ceremonial toppling of the ceremonial pole (lingo) at Basantapur.
