The woman in the middle holds a placard reading 'To my, yours, ours children, I want to keep hope. Solidarity is our strenght'. Extinction Rebellion (XR) Toulouse organized a sit-in of women in one of the most frequented street of Toulouse. Called 'Mothers'Rebellion', the sit-in involved women concerned by climate, change, planet boundaries, the 6th extinction. They want to raise awareness about the climate change and the future of her children, nephews, grand-children, cousins, brothers, etc. as states don't do enough to fight for a living future for all. Red Rebels were also prensents. For them, goverments don't really care about pollution, climate and the 6th extinction to continue the 'business as usal'. The sit-in is one of the events during an european week of protests organised by XR. Toulouse. France. September 16th 2023.

A protester holds a placard reading 'Trash bins in the fire and Macron in the middle'. More than 50 000 people protested for the 11th day of strikes and protests against the Macron's pension reform and after it passed with the article 49.3 and no vote in the Parliament. After a failed reunion between French Prime Minister Borne and the all the French trade and workers unions. French Minister Darmanis also threatened the Human Rights League ('LDH: Ligue des Droits de l'Homme') to cut all public fundings. Polls show 67% french people say they want the stirkes to intensifyand that 93% of workers oppose the pension reform. The retirement age would be raised to 64 years (for 43 years of continued work) and the pensions will be lower specially for women, 'short careers' and low wages people. Toulouse. France. A woman in the middle of rag dolls holds a placard reading 'No seasons for a housing'. The NGO D.A.L. (Droit Au Logement: Right to Housing) organized an happening in front of the Prefecture of Haute-Garonne with 4200 rag dolls. The 4200 rag dolls symbolize the 4200 homeless people counted in the city of Toulouse. They ask that every homeless people in Toulouse is housed in a shelter before the winter break on Dec. 1st.
