Former Congressman Tom Periello (D) of Virginia, currently executive director for US programs at the Open Society Foundations, speaks during a rally at the Supreme Court for voting rights and economic justice. Protesters are demanding that Congress to pass legislation protecting the right to vote and providing economic assistance to Americans. Specifically, they want passage of the Freedom to Vote Act, the Build Back Better Act, and the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.
