Iranian-American demonstrator Ay Jemal wears an eye patch as a symbolic blindfold, as well as a traditional Turkmen hat, on a worldwide day of action against the recent executions in Iran. The regime executed three men on May 19, 2023, for their alleged roles in the protests that erupted after the death of Mahsa Amini in custody of the morality police.
