Men are standing at a post office in Lviv, Ukraine, on February 15, 2024, that has been affected by a Russian missile attack. In the early hours of Thursday, Russian troops fired more than ten missiles at the Lviv region in western Ukraine. Air defense forces largely succeeded in repelling the attack, but one missile struck an infrastructure facility. The shock wave from the impact shattered windows in residential buildings and damaged a school.

Ukrainian students take part at a rally demanding recognize the blowing of the dam at the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant (KHPP) as a war crime, in front of Representation of the United Nations (UN) mission in Ukraine in Kyiv 8 June 2023, amid Russia's invasion of Ukraine. As Ukrainian media reported, Russian troops blew up the dam at the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant on June 6, and as results thousands people fled their homes in flooded areas sparking fears of a humanitarian disaster in Ukraine.
