Line 12 of the Metro Collective Transportation System in Mexico City stopped providing service to millions of users daily for an indefinite period of time after a column collapsed between Tezonco and Olivos stations on Monday night, May 3, where 25 people died and more than 70 were injured. As a result, they are using the temporary alternative bus transportation service outside each station of the affected subway line.
