Storm clouds over the Himalayas along the Panzila pass (Panjila pass) in the Suru Valley in Zanskar, Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir, India. The Panzilla Pass is the highest point between Kargil and Padam. Panzilla pass separates the Suru Valley from the Zanskar Valley and is known as the Gateway to Zanskar. The Panzila pass is located at an elevation of 4,400 m (14,436 ft) above sea level and connects the Suru Valley region to the Zanskar Valley region.
