Kristian Vaklinov, L and Georgi Yanev, R are seen chatting with old women in the time they are waiting for the train to come on the station in Velingrad, Bulgaria. The Rhodope narrow-gauge railway in Bulgaria is one of the few existing narrow-gauge railways with a regular schedule in the world. Not just used as an attraction. It is considered one of the best train journeys in Europe. The line acquires its finished look, as it is today from the town of Septemvri to the town of Dobrinishte in 1945. 76 cm track gauge, 3 mountains, many rivers, several gorges, rocky slopes sprinkled with powdered sugar peaks, vast green meadows, the smell of a cocktail of herbs, wildlife, 12 stations and 13 stops, 35 tunnels, 50 years old locomotives, the highest railway station in the Balkans, SPA and ski capitals of the Balkans, a line winding in sixes and eights, climbing 5 floors above it, a tourist attraction and the only transportation for many Bulgarians living in small remote villages on the route. This is the Rhodope Narrow Gauge Railway, which runs at no more than 50 km per hour, and your entire journey, although lasting 5 and a half hours, passes in an instant, and the world media describes it as one of the best train journeys in Europe, Rhodope, Bulgaria on June 13, 2020

Arheologist prof. Diana Gergova shows newly discovered mystical sanctuary of Thracian tribe Bessi near by Velingrad, peak Ostrec. The Bessi were an independent Thracian tribe who lived in a territory ranging from Moesia to Mount Rhodope in southern Thrace and were described as a sort of priestly-caste among the Thracian tribe Satrians. The Bessi were keepers of the oracular shrine of Dionysus located in the Rhodopes mountain, according to the ancient reports. The chronology of the visits of the Ostrec peak shows the big interest, and the archaeological excavations give a reason for supposition about the mystical sanctuary of Dionysus. The sanctuary of Dionysus, top secret hidden in the forest of Ostrec peak, about 1 600 meters above the sea level, was supposed to be equal to the ancient Greek Apollo temple in Delphi. Like Delphi's sanctuary, the Dionysus temple had an oracle that made great prophesies such as the foretell of the victorious march around the world of Alexander the Great of Macedonia. Later on, in the Roman age the oracle predicted that Octavius Augustus would create the Roman Empire. In the first days of excavations there have been discovered a lot of bones and ceramics with swastika and other figures which show our Galaxy prof. Gergova said.
