The Chamber of Deputies in Mexico approved the forthcoming elimination of Daylight Saving Time, which has been in force in the country for more than two decades, an initiative that was promoted by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, who claimed that the time changes did not generate greater savings and affected the health of Mexicans.
