A FO unionist stands near a banner reading '10€, raise of the voint value'. All trade unions from the Social Security, the Carsat and the CAF (Caisse d'allocations familiales ie Family allowance Office) called for a strike and a gathering in front of the Prefecture in Toulouse. They demand a rise of their wages, they explained it has not risen since 2017 and that inflation has peaked this month at 2.6%. Civil servants have lost nearly 20% of purchasing power in 20 years and deman the index number to be raised to 10€ the point. Toulouse. France. December 13th 2021.
