Local Water Chestnut extractors hand over the daily collected Water Chestnuts to traders at Wular Lake in Bandipora, Jammu and Kashmir, India on 18 August 2021. As per estimation, Wular Lake alone has an annual production of around 5000 metric tons of water caltrops with Dal Lake contributing nearly 2,000 metric tons alongside other wetlands across Kashmir valley.
