A volunteer from Gurtum foundation works in the school which his NGO reconstructs after the building was damaged by at least 3 bombs in Hostomel (one of the most destroyed towns during the fight to defend Kyiv in March 2022) near Kyiv, Ukraine on May 17, 2023. Gurtum is an NGO managed by local residents who work together to rebuild their town. Hostomel was on the front line of full scale invasion of Ukraine by the Russian forces over a year ago, the town was heavily bombed.

The city was on the front line of full scale invasion of Ukraine by the Russian forces over a year ago. Banksy painted the mural on a heavily bombed building. The destrayed building is now demolished and the wall with Banksy work goes to safety for preservation.
