Technicians are operating the ''Yingxiong'' shield machine in the operation room inside the Tianxiang Avenue tunnel of the Nanchang-Jiujiang Intercity Railway in Nanchang, Jiangxi province, China, on May 1, 2024. The Tianxiang Avenue Tunnel is a key project of the Nanchang-Jiujiang Intercity Railway, spanning a total length of 6.379 km. It is the largest shield tunnel designed for a 350 km/h high-speed railway that is officially being excavated and constructed in China.
