Horst Seehofer stepping down. The Christian Social Union ( CSU ) held its last rally in the Loewenbraeukeller before the Bavarian State Elections ( Landtagswahl ). The chancellor of Austria and chairman of the conservative OeVP Sebastian Kurz, the Bavarian Ministerpraesident ( governor ) Markus Soeder and the German Minister of Interior and chairman of the CSU Horst Seehofer held a speech. On 12 October 2018 in Munich, Germany.
