During these events, 313 unveiled or loosely veiled young women voluntarily choose to adopt the hijab and receive blessed headscarves from the shrine of Imam Hussein. This group now uses the emotional impact of the 12-day Iran-Israel war to encourage more youth, especially young women, to embrace the hijab.
