The building of the former police station is in the Moldavanka neighborhood in Odesa, Ukraine, on November 4, 2025. Moldavanka is one of the city's oldest neighborhoods. It is founded in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. The locality is named after Moldovan and Wallachian settlers who arrive after the Treaty of Jassy in 1792. The building consists of two wings that house a roof garden planted with various plant species. The architect is Napur Architect Ltd. The glass building skin is located behind an aluminum curtain wall. It consists of a lattice grid on which a good half million small cube elements sit. The patterns they form are based on ethnographic motifs from the museum's collections.
