In Mexico City, Mexico, on October 10, 2025, Marina Nunez Bespalova, Undersecretary of Cultural Development at the Secretariat of Culture, talks about the Original Yucatan initiative, which combats plagiarism and protects the collective rights of artisan communities belonging to indigenous peoples. The initiative takes place at the Siglo XXI Convention Center in Merida from October 13 to 16. She speaks during the news conference at the national palace.
