Members of the NYPD Crime Scene Unit collect evidence from the sidewalk into evidence bags at the scene where a 26-year-old man is fatally shot multiple times in the area of Stockton Street within the confines of the 79 precinct in Brooklyn, New York, United States, on January 18, 2026. The man is transported to the hospital in critical condition and is later pronounced deceased after he is shot Saturday evening. There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
