ZHANGJIAKOU, CHINA - JULY 23, 2023 - Photo taken on July 23, 2023 shows the Danxia Red Cliff in Houcheng town, Zhangjiakou City, North China's Hebei Province. The Red cliff of Danxia is 20 kilometers long, all of which are cliffs hundreds of meters high. It is the famous Danxia wonder in north China, the third in the world and the largest single rock in Asia.

Devils Tower, a National Monument of Wyoming, is seen in Devils Tower, WY on July 9, 2018. The igneous intrusion is considered sacred by the Northern Plains Indians and indigenous people. Rock climbing, a legitimate recreational activity by the National Park Service, dates back to 1893. 5000-6000 people climb Devils Tower annually.

The Mount Rushmore National Memorial (U.S. National Park Service) in Keystone, South Dakota, United States, is seen on July 8, 2018. Sculptures of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln were carved into granite in the Black Hills where the project took place from 1927 to 1941. 90% of the carving involved the use of dynamite.
