Workers examine a new prosthetic limb inside the Rehabilitation & Research Centre, a unit of Mahavir Seva Sadan, in Arambag on the outskirts of Kolkata, India, on November 7, 2024. From the time a patient is examined by professionals, it takes less than a day to manufacture a prosthetic limb and hand. It is handed over for free to victims of accidents and those who are handicapped by birth for their new life.
