Teenage participants sort books they bought during the 25. International Book Fair in The International Exhibition and Convention Centre EXPO in Krakow, Poland on October 27, 2023. Youth and young adults visited the fair in high numbers.

Pavil, who says he is almost 70 years old, shows off a childrens book titled 'This is Paradise' that he found while sorting through debris in his second floor apartment building that is now missing a wall in Kyiv, Ukraine on March 19, 2022. On March 18th a missile landed in the courtyard between apartment complexes causing substantial damage to them all. Pavil was in his apartment at the time of the explosion but remarkably suffered no serious injuries.
