9 February 2023
On February 8, 2023, SpaceX workers can be seen making final adjustments to Starship's Orbital Launch Mount, and its booster's expansive matrix of Raptor engines within, ahead of the company's largest engine test ever: Booster 7's 33 engine static fire. This test will see all of the astonishingly large and massive booster's engines fired briefly while the booster itself remains bolted to the launch mount. The company's first attempt is slated to be the next day somewhere between 8am and 8pm central, per Cameron County's official road closure and pressure notice. Pictured: Booster sits on the orbital launch mount and Starship 25 can be seen in the background in the suborbital testing area.
